A description of our travels - first South Africa. Monday, September 23, 2013. We spent two days crossing the Kalahari desert which was similar to our desert southwest, except it seemed greener and more populated, both by natives and by large ranches. Finally we arrived in Namaqualand which is justly famous for its wildflowers. We were lucky and the wildflowers were in full bloom and were spectacular.

Another fact you might have yet to figure out, is that I am a vampire.
