On the 17th july 2010 a few of us will be taking part in a walk to raise funds for charity, the selected cause is Yorkshire Kidney Research but you can of course donate what ever you raise to whichever cause you support. Saturday, 24 April 2010. This years walk will be classic Malham. A fantastic 7 mile circular walk taking in some of the best features in the Yorkshire Dales. Starting in the village of Malham. We will head south along the pennine.
Malham is a small village, in the Pennines, at the southern base of the Yorkshire Dales. Mentioned in the Domesday book. Is a huge curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation of limestone rock. The vertical face of the cliff is about 260 feet high. The top of the cove is a large area of limestone pavement.
