Tuesday, March 15, 2011. The 3rd Annual Fishtown Shad Fest will be held Saturday, April 23rd at the beautiful Penn Treaty Park along the Delaware River. The Fishtown Shadfest is hosted by the Friends of Penn Treaty Park. The Friends of Penn Treaty Park is a community organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the beauty and usefulness of historic Penn Treaty Park. Funds raised from the fest go to this non-profit organization and will be used for future improvements to the park.

Wallace Manson Murdoch was born April 24, 1893 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Before he was a year old his family moved to South River. In March 1917 he married Myrtle Boyd. They moved to the Barrie area in 1927, and then to Shanty Bay in 1930. Here he stayed for the rest of his life. I have done a lot of this type.
